Our horse population changes frequently and may include:

  • Horses undergoing medical evaluation
  • Equines held as part of ongoing court cases
  • Adoptable horses who are placed before we have time to post online

How to adopt

Most of our horses require experienced equine homes and handling by skilled trainers. They may have behavioral or physical needs that require ongoing management.

  • If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application to jeff@fingerlakesspca.org. If we have a good match for your home, we’ll follow up to schedule a visit.
