Volunteers are the heartbeat of our shelter. From cleaning kennels and walking dogs to assisting with events and fundraising, your time makes a real difference.

Volunteer roles include:

• Dog walking & cat socialization
• Cleaning & laundry help
• Adoption event support
• Office & administrative tasks
• Fundraising & community outreach

Whether you can help once a week or once a month, we welcome your support. If you would like, you can also fill out the volunteer application form ahead and bring it with you to the meeting. Otherwise you will receive it the day of your meeting.

Join Our Foster Program

Foster a Pet & Save a Life.

Fostering is one of the most powerful ways you can help animals in need. By providing a temporary home, you offer healing, comfort, and a second chance to pets who aren’t quite ready for adoption—or who just need a break from shelter life.

As a Foster Care Volunteer, you may care for:

• Animals with special medical or behavioral needs
• Moms with nursing litters
• Puppies or kittens who need bottle-feeding or socialization
• Long-term residents who would benefit from a quieter home

You provide the love—we provide the supplies. Applications can be emailed or dropped off during shelter hours. All foster homes must complete a basic premises check to ensure a safe environment for our animals.
